How old were you when you got your first pair of thongs? I have never owned a pair, I dislike them.

What is the most you’ve ever owned at once? Still 0
How often do you wear them? Almost never.
Where are you most likely to wear them? I have worn them in the past for quick tasks like running the garbage out or going into the unfinished basement.
What is the average price you pay for a pair? Gosh, no idea.
What is the most you would pay? $10, but they’d have to be made of, like, memory foam or something. And have bows on.
What is your cheapest pair & how much were they? They sell them at $1 stores around here.
Where do you normally buy them? If I did, probably Target.
Have you ever owned or would you consider wearing/owning a pair of “Woolies Blues”? I have never heard of the brand.
What do you call them? Flip-flops (sandals with a strap going between two toes but no heel attachment)

None. I have a few pairs of sandals with ‘thong-like’ construction, but not thongs.

For the last decade or so, never.

When we used to go caravaning with my family, I’d wear them to go have a shower/walk around the caravan park so we wouldn’t get tinea/plantar warts

I wouldn’t consider buying a pair. A friend recently sent me a link for a half price + buy one get one free havianas and was SO excited and I was all “Why would I need this..?”

I can’t say thongs have had enough impact on me to really make any big dents in my memory. I guess if I thought really hard I could think of a few occasions as a child where they broke to much annoyance…

What’s your favourite &/or most hated memory of/in a pair of thongs?Walking along a muddy road in the rain as a child, then having 1 leg sucked down into the mud and losing the thong. I found half the thong 8 years later, walking along the same stretch of road
