This project is a little bit more risqué than my others.
Essentially, there is a side to everyone that they don’t wear on their sleeves. It’s about revealing the book beneath the cover, the character behind the mask, the soul beneath the skin.
Some of these photographs will contain nudity.
Others will allude to it.
Others still will use entirely different means to tell the story.
No one is expected to go further than where they are comfortable. Boundaries are set by YOU, though please bear in mind the idea is to reveal something you would normally keep secret. You do not have to come alone to any of these shoots if you are not comfortable doing so. I modelled from 1983 through 2007, & I’m a tiny little thing who entirely understands the need for moral support & a friendly face in a shoot such as this. However it is a good idea for any chaperone you choose to bring with you to be a close friend of yours rather than your potentially overprotective or jealous partner. It’s nice to trust that our partners will behave, but it creates an air within a shoot that will put off both model & photographer & the images we create wont be as good as we could have done. That said, if your partner is also a part of the shoot itself, you can disregard the “leave them at home” advice!
A quick note:
This project is my passion, & sadly passion doesn’t pay bills.
The more time I spend working on my projects, regardless of their importance to me, the less time I have for shoots that generate income & put food on the table. If you are taking part in this project – be it modelling, supplying stories or being interviewed – you need to be willing to donate your time & services (as I am) for the cause.  This means I cannot pay you.
Makeup & styling is provided, as is art direction &, in some cases, props & location permits – which means I’m almost always out of pocket on these shoots (sometimes by quite a lot – TARDIS’ don’t come cheaply!), using the end goal as justification!
Project “Revealed” is yet another exhibition & potential printed book project.
You need to be happy for the images we take to be seen by more than just you & I – including by complete strangers.
If this still sounds like something you’d be happy to do, please contact me & become a part of it!
